Building your own PC is something worthy of consideration if you are reasonably knowledgeable about PC hardware and consider yourself competent with a screwdriver.
It can be very satisfying and an ideal way to learn more about how the innards of a PC actually work, however if you’re not sure of your abilities, then it really is best to let Save My Computer build it for you, because small errors can become very costly.
However we offer a PC building service slightly different to our competitors because we have already done some of the building work before you contact us.
We have a supply of the latest cases, motherboards, processors and memory modules already built and tested so all you have to do is tell us is what other components you require.
We will check the components you have requested and advise you if there would be any compatibility problems, then once payment has been received and with your approval we will build the PC for you.
Once the PC is built, we will configure the hardware, install the operating system and run a full system test.
When selecting components for your PC build, the only parts required are:
Hard drive
Floppy drive/Card reader
CD/DVD drives
Graphics card (some mainboards have onboard graphics, these tend to be
fine for standard office/web applications but if you are playing games or watching dvd’s then dedicated graphics cards are generally recommended)
Sound card (all mainboards include onboard audio but dedicated sound cards can offer extra features and better quality sound)
Keyboard & Mouse
Monitor
Operating system (like Windows XP Home)
If you are unsure about any aspect of our PC build service then please call us.
