We need to make our customers aware of the inherent risks of loss or damage to equipment, media or data stored on that equipment or media when performing any type of computer / electronic installation or repair, and therefore all work is undertaken subject to certain terms and conditions.

When our engineer arrives at your home or office you will be asked to sign our work order form, signing this form means that you have read, understood and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.


1. Liability

1.1 It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that prior to “Save My Computer” starting work on its computer system or other electronic installation, that all critical data has been backed up, and that appropriate recovery procedures are in place. It is the customer’s responsibility to back up all files and folders. “Save My Computer” will not accept liability for any loss of data and/or information before, during or after services any provided by “Save My Computer”.

1.2 “Save My Computer” will make every possible effort to preserve & protect the customer’s data. However we make no guarantees whatsoever that any of the customers data will be left intact, accessible or usable after any services have been attempted or provided by “Save My Computer”. Therefore “Save My Computer” shall not be liable for any loss or damage to any data during or after services provided by “Save My Computer”.

1.3 “Save My Computer” will make every possible effort to ensure the safety & integrity of any equipment, media or data stored on that equipment or media whilst in its care or whilst providing on-site or off-site services. However “Save My Computer” shall not be liable for any claims regarding (A): Accidental physical damage of any equipment, media or data stored on that equipment or media. (B): The physical functioning of any equipment, media or data stored on that equipment or media. (C): The condition or existence of any data stored on that equipment or media before, during or after any services provided by “Save My Computer”.

1.4 If any of the customer's equipment or media develops fault during a service delivery by “Save My Computer” on-site or off-site, the customer agrees not to hold “Save My Computer” responsible for the fault. However “Save My Computer” will, at our discretion, attempt to remedy the problem free of charge on the understanding that “Save My Computer” shall not be held liable if the problem persists or becomes more serious.

1.5 “Save My Computer” shall not be liable for any damage to equipment, media or data stored on that equipment or media where a failed previous repair attempt has been made by the customer, or any other person, before, during or after any services provided by “Save My Computer”, especially where the repair has been complicated or becomes more serious as a result.

1.6 “Save My Computer” shall not be liable for (A): any loss of profits, business or revenue sustained by the customer or any other person. (B): any anticipated loss of profits, business or revenue that could be sustained by the customer or any other person. (C): any type of indirect or consequential loss whether sustained by the customer or any other person during or after services provided by “Save My Computer” or from any advice or recommendations given to the customer or any other person by “Save My Computer”.

2. Payment & Prices

2.1 All prices for products or services given by “Save My Computer” in response to a customer's enquiry by phone, e-mail or any other acceptable means, unless otherwise agreed in writing, are only given as an estimate. Therefore the estimated price quoted may be varied at any time without prior notice by “Save My Computer”.

2.2 Payment must be made by cash or cheque on the date of service provided or by written agreement between “Save My Computer” and the customer, not later than 30 days following the date of service provided, irrespective of any dispute they may have with “Save My Computer”.
